Volunteer Recruitment for a Clinical Study on a Japanese-Made Skincare Product
VIỆN HÀN LÂM Y HỌC (Academy of Medical Sciences) is recruiting volunteers to participate in a clinical study evaluating the efficacy and safety of a skincare product manufactured in Japan.
The study focuses on key areas of modern skincare, including skin hydration, the appearance of wrinkles and crow’s feet, skin brightness, smoothness, firmness, and elasticity. These characteristics are important indicators of skin condition, age-related changes, and the effects of environmental factors on skin aging.
Through non-invasive skin assessments, specialized measurement devices, standardized photography, and clinical evaluations, the study aims to collect objective scientific evidence regarding the product's efficacy and skin tolerability. VIỆN HÀN LÂM Y HỌC warmly invites eligible individuals to participate, contribute to scientific research, and support the development of evidence-based skincare solutions.
1. Research Areas
The study focuses on evaluating the following potential skincare benefits:
- Skin Hydration: Assessing improvements in skin moisture levels and hydration maintenance, particularly for dry or dehydrated skin.
- Wrinkle and Crow’s Feet Reduction: Monitoring changes in the appearance and severity of facial wrinkles, especially around the eyes.
- Skin Brightening: Evaluating changes in skin brightness and tone using skin analysis devices and standardized photography.
- Skin Smoothness: Assessing improvements in skin texture, surface roughness, and overall smoothness.
- Skin Firmness: Monitoring changes in skin firmness and visible signs of sagging or loss of firmness.
- Skin Elasticity: Evaluating the skin's ability to recover after gentle mechanical stimulation, reflecting its elastic properties.
In addition to evaluating skincare efficacy, the study will assess skin tolerability and potential adverse reactions throughout the product application period.
Interested volunteers will undergo preliminary screening to determine their eligibility based on skin condition, signs of aging, and the study's inclusion and exclusion criteria.
